Bob A. Brust

Bob grew up in New Jersey spending weekends and summers on the family farm in upstate New York. He studied Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Studies as an undergraduate at Michigan State University where he also received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Bob began his career as an associate veterinarian at a progressive 6-doctor hospital, performing examinations, surgeries and emergency treatments. At Henniker he performs daily exams, surgeries, dentals, and house calls. Bob served on the New Hampshire Board of Veterinary Medicine for 5 years and is a past president of the New England Veterinary Medical Association.  He is a member of The Henniker Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club, the Farm Bureau and the American Livestock Breed Conservancy. He lives in Henniker with Alyssa (his wife and fellow veterinarian) and their two children. Bob enjoys skiing, golfing, boating, fishing and is an avid Red Sox fan.

 

Alyssa J. Brust

Alyssa grew up in the Midwest spending a lot of time at the family farm in Wisconsin. She rode horses and her family raised puppies and always had cats around their home. In fact, a favorite childhood pastime was searching for newborn kittens that had wandered o around the farm. Alyssa attended Michigan State University for both undergraduate and vet school, graduated MSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and is a past president of the New England Veterinary Medical Association.  She is married to business partner and fellow veterinarian Bob. They met at MSU at have been married for 25 years. Together they have two children.  Patrick is age 17 and entering MSU as a human biology major. He will be one of two New Hampshire Quarterbacks in the 2020 Shrine Bowl.  Ashely is age 16 and plays soccer, hockey and softball.  She stays busy taking care of her pet cows, horses, ducks, cats and dog when at home. In her spare time Alyssa enjoys camping, traveling and many sports, including rooting for the Spartans, Packers and Red Sox. 

 

Amy Jones

Growing up in Concord, New Hampshire, Amy always wanted to be a vet. She attended Dartmouth College and then moved to Colorado where she worked for 2 years as a vet tech. Amy then attended Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in North Grafton, MA graduating in 2002 and worked for several years in a small animal practice in Keene, NH. A member of the Henniker staff since 2006 Amy is married and has 2 boys ages 13 and 16. Her family is also home to 2 cats, 1 dog, and 8 chickens. Amy enjoys travel, skiing, hiking and spending time with her family.

Olivia Lattanzi

Olivia is originally from Milton, Massachusetts and has always been an avid animal lover. She received her undergraduate degree from Colby College and worked as a small animal veterinary technician for several years before pursuing her veterinarian education. Olivia attended Iowa State University Veterinary School of Medicine and now lives in Hillsboro, NH. When not in the office Olivia can be found horseback riding, working out, hiking or exploring the great outdoors with her fur kids. Olivia shares her home with 3 dogs: Colby, Ebenezer and Eloise; 2 cats: Ogdon and Hopper; 4 horses: Lucy, Fancy, Bravehart and Charles Wallace and her husband named Mike.

Brittany Paquette

Brittany has always been an animal enthusiast and worked on several horse farms in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts where she grew up. In high school, she and her mother moved to a small farm in a nearby rural town where she acquired many farm animals. Knowing that she wanted to be a veterinarian, she attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and graduated with a bachelor’s of science in Pre-veterinary medicine. During college Brittany decided to try a new equestrian sport and joined the UMass Polo team. From there Brittany attended and received her doctorate from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine. During her free time, she enjoys all outdoor activities, live music, good food, the beach and spending time with family, friends and her little dog Romeo.

Jennifer Scanlon

Growing up in Massachusetts, Jen knew that she wanted to be a vet from a young age. She attended Brandeis University, receiving her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. During her gap year between college and veterinary school Jen worked as an equine ambulatory veterinary technician, as well as a handler at her local dog daycare. Jen attended Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in North Grafton, MA. When not in the office, Jen spends her free time baking, hiking and exploring, spending time with family and friends, and watching too much TV with her cat Jupiter.   

Lauren DeGennaro

Lauren is from Naugatuck, CT and has always had a love for animals.  She received her undergraduate degree from Boston College, where she majored in biochemistry and minored in theology.  After college she spent two years working as a veterinary assistant at a feline-exclusive veterinary clinic.  She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.  After vet school she completed a one year equine internship at Genesee Valley Equine Clinic in Scottsville, NY.  While not at the hospital, Lauren enjoys birding, hiking and exploring the outdoors.  She currently shares her home with her cat Misty, and is happy to be back in New England.
